Can I buy lottery tickets in Lotto Lens?
No. Lotto Lens helps you record and check tickets you have already bought. You cannot buy lottery tickets or enter a draw through Lotto Lens. Buy your tickets through the lottery’s usual official channels.
Do I need to keep my original ticket?
Yes. Keep your original ticket safe, even after scanning it. A scan or a ticket saved in Lotto Lens does not replace your original ticket or serve as proof of purchase for a prize claim. Always check your ticket with the official lottery operator before discarding it.
How do I claim a prize?
Claim your prize as normal through the official lottery operator, following its claim process and deadlines for your ticket. Lotto Lens does not claim prizes for you or pay out winnings. Keep your original ticket and verify any win with the operator.
Is Lotto Lens an official National Lottery app?
No. Lotto Lens is an independent app by John Mackay and is not affiliated with The National Lottery. Use the official lottery operator to confirm results, ticket validity and prize claims.
Can I add my numbers without scanning?
Yes. You can enter your ticket numbers manually, including tickets bought online. Check that the game, numbers and draws you enter match your ticket.
Do I need an internet connection?
Yes. You need an internet connection to scan and check a ticket. Lotto Lens checks saved tickets automatically when results become available, and prize amounts are updated when the prize breakdown is available.
Do I need a subscription?
A free account gives you access to results and prize breakdowns. Scanning, automatic ticket checking and winning alerts require a subscription. Check the app or Lotto Lens website for current subscription options.
Can I use Lotto Lens on more than one device?
Yes. Lotto Lens is available on iPhone, Android and the web. Sign in with the same account to sync your tickets. An active subscription works across all three; if you subscribed in an app, verify your email under Settings → Account and use that email on your other devices.
How can I get help with a ticket?
Email support@johnmackay.dev with the game, draw date, your device and a description of the problem. For ticket validation or claiming a prize, contact the official lottery operator.
